The SCW team is working hard to release another round of performance reports for breast cancer surgery and enhanced recovery protocols for colorectal surgery. Both of these reports will be for procedures that occurred during the first three (3) quarters of 2021 (January – September). Be on the lookout for reports to be released in the coming weeks.

  • Breast surgery reports will highlight 60-day re-excision rates, mastectomy rates, the number of index lumpectomy and mastectomy procedures, and the number of repeat procedures.
  • Colorectal surgery reports will display postop length of stay, clinical factors associated with 30-day readmission encounters, patient sociodemographics, and clinical characteristics

 

FREE Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) Online Courses Available!

A partnership between Wisconsin’s DHS and Healthcare Emergency Readiness Coalitions has purchased ABLS online CME courses for physicians. This opportunity is FREE to sign up for and is in support of the state’s burn surge plan. The course is virtual, self-paced, and approved for 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM . Limited spots are available, so secure your spot today by following the below enrollment steps! Participants must sign up for a spot by January 31, and you will have one year to complete the course.
