Seeking your contact information for NIA funded interhospital transfer study

Dr. Angie Ingraham at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is conducting the Support Interhospital Transfer Decisions (SITe) study to understand providers’ experiences communicating during calls about interhospital transfers of older (≥60 years) emergency general surgery (EGS) patients. This study is funded by the National Institute on Aging.

Referring surgeons play a critical role in the transfer of EGS patients. If you call the UW Health-Meriter Access Center, you may be contacted to participate in this study. For each eligible transfer call, the team will request that you complete a 3-minute online survey about your communication experience.

Participation is voluntary. To streamline your participation, please take a moment now to share your preferred contact information here: https://go.wisc.edu/egs
