SCW Fall Member Meeting

The SCW Fall Member Meeting was held on Saturday, November 9 at The American Club in Kohler, WI. The highlight of the meeting was a session on perioperative pain management in the era of the opioid epidemic.

Rural MAPs

Jessica Schumacher, PhD, SCW Director of Data and Analytics, was selected to be a member of the National Quality Forum (NQF) Rural Health Workgroup.

 

Funding Updates

Addressing Opioid Prescribing in the Stateline

SCW was awarded $235,382 from the Hendricks Family Foundation in October to address opioid prescribing in the Stateline over the next two years.

Building a Surgery Engagement and Measurement Network to Improve Rural Cancer Care Delivery

SCW, in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center, has been awarded $200,000 from the National Cancer Institute to improve surgical quality in rural communities through its Rural Task Force.
