Updated Performance Reports
We’re excited to share that the latest performance reports are now available for SCW members through the Learning Management System (LMS). These reports include new data on sentinel lymph node biopsies (SLNB) in women undergoing lumpectomy for ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), along with ongoing quality metrics in key surgical areas.
Reducing Unnecessary Breast Cancer Surgeries
Reporting period: July 2023 – June 2024
- NEW: SLNB rates for women with DCIS undergoing breast-conserving surgery. This metric supports guidelines recommending against SLNB in most cases.
- Continued tracking of 60-day re-excision rates for breast-conserving surgery.
Enhanced Recovery Protocols for Colorectal Surgery
Reporting period: July 2023 – June 2024
- Includes postoperative length of stay, clinical factors associated with 30-day readmissions, and relevant patient characteristics.
- Performance is benchmarked against hospital and statewide averages.
Reports are confidential. SCW members can only access their own performance data. An active LMS account and a signed report usage agreement are required. Once registered, a member of the SCW team will follow up with the agreement form.
